i am trying to find out the name of the artist who performs the song 'Overtaking' that is sung during the credits on the first 1 Giant Leap dvd. i believe the artist had died before the dvd was released.
Cheers!

The film you were trying to remember is called Latcho Drom, by Tony Gatlif, following the route (and the music) of the Roma from Rajastan to Spain.
