A great quote from Godfrey Reggio.  Also read about Tom Lowe's feelings after watching Samsara, how it differs from Baraka, and Godfrey's response to that.

HEILD - Totality

Last updated by Darren on 01 December 2011

HEILD, or Totality, is a film by Petur K. Gudmundsson.  It is currently in production.  You can see a trailer below.  From Petur:

HEILD translates into Totality and is a non-narrative film featuring the country of my origin. Iceland. The film focuses on all aspects of it´s unique and diverse nature, it´s entire nation and culture. The goal with this film is to present Iceland in a way it has never been presented before, using many elements of higher-end cinematography. There are places here everyone knows, but there are also thousands of well hidden places. To find these locations one has to be adventurous or a local, and to capture them right, one has to be creative and extremely patient.

The film is a TrailerPark Studios production and is expected to release in late 2012

DEUS EX HOMINE - by Peter H. Chang

Last updated by Darren on 13 November 2011

This was a stereoscopic 3D motion-controlled (moco) time-lapse test for an upcoming project. Ideally, it should be viewed in S3D.

View it in 3D at YouTube 3D: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0quUxvXtHPw

You can select from various anaglyph (colored glasses) and stereo modes.

Brad Kremer and Stewart Mayer of camBLOCK flew out for three days of shooting at the end of March. It rained the entire time they were in town so we were confined to interiors, which turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise since those shots turned out to be some of the more impressive ones in 3D.

After the weather cleared, I shot for an additional nine days around San Francisco with assistance from Simon Christen, Noah Hawthorne, Christopher Fuzi, Robert Mooring, Josh Golz, and Paul Leeming.
