Home by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and narrated by Glenn Close is probably worth a mention. Not non-verbal but very much in this vein with a Glass-like sound track.

If you mention "Home" then...

without a doubt, the BBC Series of documentary films (verbal) on the Planet Earth is also worth a mention. Simply amazing cinematography.

You're right. The BBC series are just amazing. Look out for the DVD box sets, often reduced in price.

Ways to improve the HOME dvd/film

The Blu-ray / DVD of HOME would be so much better if you could turn off the narrator and just have the music.
Anyone agree ?
