Specifically, it would appear to be a Tactical Air Command A-7D. I agree on the aircraft. Specifically, it is probably a Ling-Temco-Vought A-7D Corsair II.
I say that because the pilot appears to be part of the US Air Force Tactical Air Command, judging from the partially-visible patch on his chest.
