Also as a former member, this is most definetly not the Bronx Group Drill Team. We never used rifles, berets or full blue dress uniform at any competition. Also, only 12 participated in the standard and innovative drill portions. | cl | Connecticut | 8

Clearly not the Bronx Group Drill Team. I was a member from '84 to '86. Bronx Group is known "Nationally" since the early days of Civil Air Patrol. | Ismael Figueroa | NY | 2

CAP Bronx Drill team.. Great organization. I learned a lot while "briefly" joining the Bronx Drill team. I remember that for the 87 or 88, we even had some of members from pas national champs come back to help with the training.. I remember Doming Torres coming and help us train for the competion.. too bad there are not many photos online from those teams!!! | lrodriguez | El salvador
drilling songs does any one remember the songs we used to sing while training. I guess there to the tunes of some oldies adapted for the group... and passed on from earlier teams. | lrodriguez | El salvador
the fact that you all remember the detai... the fact that you all remember the details from way back then is remarkable -- I was in Squadron 5 -- I remember Figueroa and Thompson....Franco and Juan were our commanders -- drilling was hell :-) | Mercedes Medina | Miami, Florida

Epa 2 I think this may very well be the Bronx Group Drill Team performing at the national competition in Rockefeller Center not too long after World War II. They did carry rifles early on. I'll have Magee check it out. Again, you can reach me at [email protected] | Epa | New Jersey |
