The image is easily recognizable as Hong Kong's distinctively-shaped Cross Harbour Tunnel, the first tunnel to connect Hong Kong Island to Kowloon.

The tunnel opened to the public in 1972, and so was around 15-16 years old at the time, unless this scene was stock footage.
